Frequently Asked Questions

  • Families or groups are count for up to 6 people. Any more than that will be prorated based on individual numbers. Session time and photo count will be prorated as well.

    For example, if a family has 6 people and the location is within Rexburg (so no travel fees) the shoot are:

    • $100, with 1-2hr session, 1 location, and up to $100 edited photos.

    If the family had 8 people (with no travel fees):

    • $120, with a 1-2hr session, 1 location, and up to 120 edited photos.

  • No. The session starts once we start taking pictures.

    For example, if a session is supposed to last 2 hours, but it takes 35 minutes, to and from the location, those 35 minutes do not affect the 2 hours.

  • I am based in Rexburg ID; travel rates (plus or minus a couple minutes, I’m flexible) goes as follows:

    15min (or less) - No additional charge

    30min (or less) - $15

    45min (or less) - $30

    1hr (or less) - $45

    • If by chance you want to go somewhere but lack transportation, I will gladly drive you! (in accordance with the travel policy listed above). I have my trusty 2011 Toyota Sienna to do that :D

  • I will edit as many as I claimed to deliver in the Pricing Details section (i.e, individual & couples get up to 75 high-definition, edited pictures).

    However, if you wish to have pictures past that limit, I can give you the unedited ones as well, free of charge.

    At the end of the day, you are paying me for my experience, quality of photos, and time (travel, prep, editing, etc). If it doesn't require my time, it does not make sense to charge you.

  • I retain all rights to the pictures I take and keep, including to display them in my portfolio/website. However, with the copies you receive, you are free to do whatever you want with them.

    I realize some photographers are very particular on how their pictures are used; I am not.

  • Yes, unless otherwise requested.

    This is because the pictures are shot in RAW format, which means they look fairly bland straight from the camera. The RAW format is meant to be that way.

  • Just maintain communication and let me know. I realize things change and its part of life.

    If we need to reschedule, it will be dependent on how my calendar is looking, but I will try my best to accommodate you!

  • Part of the session includes briefly going over the pictures with you as we take them, so corrections can be made on the spot.

    If by chance you want a different style of editing, you can send me examples of what you have in mind and we can make arrangements to resolve your concerns.
